Auction Volunteers

 

An Auction Volunteer supports our signature fundraising event that helps:

  • Make the Annual Auction and Party the best community event of the year

  • Increase participation and bidding to maximize support for our schools

  • Create an engaging celebration that brings families together

  • Execute a professional event that reflects LLEF's investment-grade standards

Overview of Responsibilities

 

Choose from multiple volunteer opportunities based on your interests and availability.

 

Leadership & Strategy

  • Auction Leadership - help make operational and strategic decisions

 

Solicitation Teams

  • Solicitation Chairperson - coordinate donation acquisition efforts

  • Adult and Kid Sign-up Parties - organize social donation events

  • Live Auction Items - secure high-value items that generate significant funds

  • Fine Wine and Dining - curate premium dining and beverage experiences

  • Teacher Treasures - work with school staff to create unique classroom experiences

  • Experiences and Getaways - coordinate travel and adventure packages

Event Production

  • Auction Production Chair - oversee event logistics and execution

  • Beverage Manager - coordinate bar service and wine selection

  • Decorations - create themed environment and visual appeal

  • Food Liaison - coordinate catering and dining experience

  • Marketing - promote event and drive attendance

  • Web Design - manage online auction platform and content

  • Fund a Need - coordinate special giving opportunities

 

Time Commitment

​Varies by role and season. Most positions require 2-4 hours per week during planning phases, with increased commitment closer to the event date.
