Phone Appeal Volunteer

 

The Phone Appeal Volunteer is a champion and advocate of the Foundation that helps:

• Generate over 20% of all Annual Giving Campaign investments in just one evening

• Connect directly with district families to share LLEF's impact and investment opportunities

• Create personal relationships that strengthen community support for our schools

• Make fundraising accessible through provided scripts, templates, and training

Overview of Responsibilities

​

• Participate in one evening phone appeal event calling 20-30 district families

• Use provided call scripts and talking points to share LLEF's mission and impact

• Follow up with families using provided email templates and resources

• Record call outcomes and donor responses for campaign tracking

• Attend brief training session to learn tips and techniques for effective outreach

• Work as part of a team of 40+ volunteers in a supportive, energetic environment

Time Commitment 

 

• One evening event during Annual Campaign season

• Brief training session prior to phone appeal (typically 30-45 minutes)

• Minimal time investment with maximum impact for the Foundation

• We provide all materials, scripts, and support to make your participation easy and effective
