LLEF Annual Auction
AUCTION Frequently Asked Questions
The Party
The party will kick off around 5:00pm with cocktails amidst on-theme decor and special surprises. After cocktails, we will sit down for dinner and the live auction. After the live auction, dancing begins!
The Online Auction
Many items donated by the community will be available in the online auction. We use an online bidding platform “Bidding for Good,” which tracks bids and notifies you if you are outbid. The online auction allows those unable to attend the event to participate in the auction.
The Silent Auction
At the party, we will have tables set up with Silent Auction items for viewing and bidding. Bidding will close before the Live Auction.
The Live Auction
Select big ticket and “priceless” items are auctioned off live, in front of the dinner crowd by an auctioneer. The starting bids are set by the Auction team and go up by set amounts.
COVID Protocols
We are monitoring the situation and planning extensively to ensure that this is a COVID-safe event. We will follow all protocols set forth by the school district’s Pandemic Recovery Planning Committee. The event will be held outside in the Lunch Pavilion on the Las Lomitas campus. Given that the event will take place on campus, we ask that only those fully vaccinated guests purchase tickets.
Tickets
Tickets will be available online in February, 2023. Be on the lookout for invitations and more info throughout the school year.
Dress Code
Attendees are encouraged, but not required, to dress in theme for the auction. While the majority of guests will be in costume, some choose to wear dressy attire with a nod to the auction theme. We want our guests to feel comfortable and enjoy themselves.
Payment and Logistics
Invoices will be emailed within a few days of the Auction and will include all winning bids and items purchased. Payments are charged to your credit card on file. All of your winning items will be delivered to you.
