Lead the Marketing and Communications to direct LLEF’s overall comprehensive marketing and communications strategy. Help provide a consistent and active communication strategy to the community for the purposes of fundraising, recruitment, awareness and branding.
Contribute expertise to the Board and staff in establishing organizational marketing, branding and communication plans and initiatives.
Attend weekly 1-hour check-in meetings with LLEF Board and staff via zoom.
Develop creative market outreach programs that will drive new donors, sponsors, and increased fundraising growth.
Develop strategies for various marketing communications channels and web presences including, electronic/social media (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc), Spot/Roar newsletters, website and printed collateral.
Work with Executive Director to evaluate effectiveness of marketing initiatives
The hours per week vary depending on the time of the year. Much of the Marketing role takes place in the fall during the Annual Giving Campaign, and then again in the spring when LLEF holds its annual auction. On average this role requires 1-3 hours of time per week. We understand our volunteers have limited time, and we appreciate any time you can give to support the Foundation, and we will work to make sure your time is used effectively and efficiently.
